A new business vertical

We worked with Nikkei and Financial Times product leaders to develop a brand new product proposition in market intelligence, launched in early 2018.

We were asked to help, due to our expertise in financial information software and developing data-driven concepts. Key to this was our ability to connect the needs of the editorial business with their technology and data teams. We collaborated with Nikkei and FT staff in Singapore, Tokyo and London.


What we delivered

  • Concept developing and testing initial of positioning and MVP.
  • Concept research with users (theirs and our own finance networks).
  • Design prototyping, focussing on MVP and subsequent iterations.
  • Brand positioning, naming and visual design.
